Description

The Hayward ProSeries W3S244T is a top-mount, high-rate sand filter with a molded, corrosion-proof polymer tank and a 1-1/2″ VariFlo 7-position multiport valve for normal filtration, backwash, rinse, recirculate, waste, closed, and winter functions. It filters pool or spa water by pushing it through a sand media bed, with an integral top diffuser for even flow and a self-cleaning underdrain lateral assembly. This filter is used on in-ground and above-ground pools, in-ground spas, and water features such as fish ponds and fountains. Rated for 62 GPM with 3.14 sq ft of filtration area, it uses 300 lb of #20 silica sand (0.45–0.55 mm) and is designed for up to 50 psi working pressure.
