MultiPort Positions
| Position | |
| Filter | Normal position during operation of the filter system |
| Backwash | Position to clean or purge the system of built up debris |
| Rinse | Used with Sand Filters, this position is designed to flush any leftover sand from the system after backwashing, so it doesn’t get returned to the pool |
| Closed | Position to close off the inlet and outlet to the filter. Useful when servicing a filter located below the pools’ water level. |
| Recirculate | Bypasses the filter, water flows directly through the valve & the rest of the system, without going through the filter. |
| Waste | Bypasses the filter, with water going directly to the “waste” or “backwash” line. Used when floccing a pool to prevent debris from going through a filter. |
